Who we are
Palm N Soul ("we", "us", "our") operates the palm'n'soul mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data. Contact us at privacy@palmnsoul.app.
What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Palm images: Temporarily processed by our AI to generate your reading. Never stored on our servers after analysis.
- Reading results: The text output of your palm reading is saved to provide your reading history.
- Optional profile data: Name, date of birth, and country — only if you choose to provide them. Used solely to personalise your readings.
- Anonymous identifier: A random ID to link your readings to your device. No email or phone number required.
- Google account data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address for account identification only.
What we never do
- We never store your palm photos after analysis
- We never sell your data to third parties
- We never use your data for advertising
- We never share your personal information without your consent
How we use your data
- To generate and display your palm reading results
- To provide daily readings personalised to your palm profile
- To maintain your reading history within the app
- To personalise your experience based on optional profile data
Third party services
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Processes palm images to generate readings. Images are not retained by Anthropic after processing.
- Supabase: Stores your reading results and profile data securely.
- Google Sign In: Optional authentication service.
Your rights
- Request deletion of all your data at any time from within the app
- Access a copy of your stored reading data
- Opt out of optional profile personalisation at any time
- Use the app anonymously without providing any personal information
Data retention
Reading results are retained until you delete your account or request deletion. Anonymous identifiers are deleted when you uninstall the app. Optional profile data (name, DOB, country) is stored locally on your device.
Children
palm'n'soul is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of palm'n'soul after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
